A delicious strawberry ice cream

Ingredients:

4 cups fresh ripe strawberries, stemmed and sliced
4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice


1 level teaspoon strawberry cornflour

1-1/2 cups sugar
4 cups whole milk
1-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extrac

4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine the strawberries with the lemon juice and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Stir gently and allow the strawberries to macerate in the juices for 2 hours in the refrigerator. 

Mash the strawberries.

Boil  3 cups of  milk and  sugar  and vanilla.

Dissolve in 1 cup of milk, the strawberry cornflour. And it is added to milk to a boil. Leave to cool.

In a chilled bowl mix milk and strawberry puree.

Place it in the freezer until you have a smooth, creamy texture.  Stir with a spoon each three hours and return to the refrigerator. 

I have to wait for 8 hours.

Oh, My husband and I 

enjoyed this delicious ice cream.

And This is cheaper and a lot. 

But......We had to eat for one week ice cream.

Relaxing Walk

She is my friend, We have been friends 25 years ago. We went both at the same school. And two weeks ago we went out to walk.  We have seen a lot of beautiful things.

YESTERDAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY

My dear husband and my family were with me, we celebrated my birthday.


My husband gave me this beautiful vase with flowers.

 My mother and sister cook for me.

I am really happy because God blessing me, each day.

Sometime I am sad because I am not a young lady but 

I think:

The best is yet to come.

ONION FLOWER

Yesterday I went to the Ecological Market and I bought some onion flowers , very cheap, only one dollar the dozen, It was the first time I bought them. 

Now, for the breakfast I have been cooking Enchiladas with Mole, instead onion rings I put on them  onion flowers.


I really liked it.

PREPARING FOR THE PALM SUNDAY

Today Saturday outside of  churches artisans preparing the palms for tomorrow Palm Sunday.

ES UNA EXPERIENCIA DIFERENTE, VISITAR UN TIANGUIS ECOLOGICO: LOS COLORES, LOS AROMAS, LOS SABORES DE LAS LEGUMBRES Y VERDURAS. AL IGUAL QUE LAS PERSONAS CON SU SONRISA, CON LA EXPERIENCIA COTIDIANA DE DAR Y RECIBIR CON AMOR. ES RELAJANTE.

It is a different experience. What a beautiful colors!  What delicious! This is a really party of colors. Each saturday in this ecological market  are sold vegetables,  turkey meat, rabbit meat, honey, cereals, chesse, crafts, flowers, tortillas, tamales, chiles, bread. Oh my goodness, thanks for this delicious food and things, and for the friendly sellers. A nice place.

I have bought this bouquet of roses,  this vegetables and bread. 

I will  cook some delicious salads.
