GOOD BYE SUMMER

Today I fell nostalgic, maybe summer
is saying Good-bye. I know Life is same.
But there is a lot of beautiful things for
felling me happy: love of God,
a good song,
beautiful flowers.

These Roses are from my garden

thorns, but a life empty
of love will have no roses"

Six year ago At Querétaro, I bought this vase and these pictures on stone:

I bought this inditos dolls:

When my family came we began to cooking, first Chiles en Nogada a traditional dish from Puebla.

It consists of poblano chiles filled with picadillo (a mixture usually containing shredded meat, aromatics, fruits and spices) topped with a walnut-based cream sauce, called nogada, and pomegranate seeds, giving it the three colors of the Mexican flag: green for the chili, white for the nut sauce and red for the pomegranate. The walnut used to prepare nogada is a variety called Nuez de Castilla

Also we cooked  three color rices: Green rice, White rice and Red rice, as our colors flag.

And we cooling Esquites:
In one recipe, the grains of corn are first boiled in salted water. Then they are sauteed in butter with onions, garlic, chiles, epazote and salt.

It is served hot, in small cups and topped with varying combinations of lime juice, chile piquin, lemon juice and mayonnaise.

We really had fun.
